Masquer was born in a upper class citizen's house. He was born in Italy, and was known as Velare Foschia to his father while he was known as Masquer Brume to his mother. He had a happy childhood, which was mostly spent up playing with his little friends, but he was also a top student in the school, and had a regard as a gifted scholar. After this, his family moved him to England, his father's land. To both Italian and English people, he was known as a gifted scholar. Both lands were havens to him, and were made him as happy as he could be. He had friends, he had admirers, and he had power and authority. The Tragic Graduation (1646) :- Spoiler:
When Masquer was nineteen, he had a graduation coming. Judging by his extraordinary talents, both Italian proffessors and English proffessors who had taught Velare had concluded that he should graduate early. The Graduation was a great event. It brought all of Velare's old Italian and new English friends, proffessors and most people that he knew. Masquer, as he watched with smug satisfaction at the crowd when he thought he felt something was wrong. But becuase he was too proud of himself, he didn't observe the crowd properly; not enough to notice that his father wasn't there. He went forward, wearing his square hat, and was about to recive his diploma when a sudden burst of noise came from the door. A red mess was on the floor, but it was identifible as a man, kneeling, covered in...
"Blood! How dare you in a graduation..."
"Please... *cough* *choke*... this message... *cough* Velare Fosc..."
The man slumped to the floor, apparantly dead. Velare ran to the corpse and took the scroll, red from blood, and opened it. He took one look, gasped, and fell on the floor, having fainted. Dear Velare, I am being chased by the Templars. They believe me to be an assassin. When you get this message, I might be dead already. Flee to France, your mother's land in total secret. There, you will be safe. Love, your father and moth... To France, having only two suitcases and a heart full of hate (1646 ~ 1647) :- Spoiler:
When Masquer woke up, he was in a hospital. His friends and teachers were around him, looking anxious, and when they saw he was conscious, they were relived, but not for long. They seemed to have taken the scroll and read it. Although they had done this, they promised Velare that they did not tell anyone else. They had prepared for him to leave to France at once. They told Velare about the other information that they had gathered. Velare's father had been arrested for suspicion of being an assassin, told to the templars by his old and most hated enemy. They had believed him, and when his father tried to struggle against them to get to the graduation, they thought it was proof and chased him. An arrow had killed his father while he was writing the letter. The man had been his father's old friend, and had died in the attempt to fulfill his friend's last wish. His teachers had booked him a boat to France, and his friends had got half of all their money and packed it neatly in too suitcases. Velare decided to adbandon his name and instead called himself Masquer Brume, the name that only his mother had called him. He got onto the boat, and silently sailed off to France, while he would get his new life. To the recent (1647 ~ 1669) :- Spoiler:
Masquer got a job in France as an apprentice of a philosopher, who was amazed at his pupil's skills. He recieved many experiences of what life is like for a philsopher, and he decided that he liked it. It was a kind of quiet life, without much bothering or attention. It was exactly good to hide himself for a few years. Masquer was locked up in a tower during the first 7 years after his teacher's death. He was an excellent scientist, and made many inventions during his 7 years, though most he broke. After the news about him was all tranquil, he moved to a small village in France, and was known as the main advisor of the village. He cured injured or sick people, and he forcasted the weather through the movement of heavenly figures. He usually watched children play at the riverbed, or was teaching an eager student about studying. Before long, he was considered a great philophoser and a big luck to that part of the region, and many people sought him for advice. He was happy to aid them, but finally moved to another place when he had trained other students to be wise enough to help the village. He did this because if he got too famous, he would be heard to the Templars too, and would be considered suspicious. As he roamed around, he helped people, but in the end, he settled down a litte village that was on a mountain and next to a stream. After he spent a few years there, he went put to roam again, but for another purpose; to seek and destroy the Templars, the enemies of his father. He took a step, in his white coat, and was going over the hill under the road, under the orange-red, sky. RP-Sample: Masquer was walking down the road, while he fingered his rapier. He walked into an inn, and sat down at the nearest chair. A plumpy sort of women bounced up to him. " How may I help you sir?" " A one-man room, dinner and breakfast, and a mug of beer." " That would be 18 euros, sir." Masquer flipped the money onto the table, and the owner bounced away, while a voice shouted " Oi! More Beer here!" He heard the slight bouncing of the owner as she delivered the beer. A short time later, Masquer was yawning and about to go up to bed for a good night's nap, he heard the owner telling the men that had ordered half the beer stock that they had about 147 euros to pay. As he walked up, he thought he heard raised voices, but it could be as the same as the two couple up on the 2nd floor. Suddenly, he heard a gunshot, and smelled gunpowder. Creeping down the stairs as fast as he could, he heard the men threatening the old lady. " Come on, you don't want us to shoot you do ya? Give us all the money you have. NOW!" " Bu, bububububut..." " No buts!" He heard another gunshot, but he felt another thing rather than anxiety now. Masquer had a feeling of twisted rage and disgust. He whirled around the corner, and before his opponent knew who they were fighting, he had his rapier to the neck of one of the men and his pistol/dagger at the nose of the other. He twisted the foot of the one who was holding the gun, making him drop it in poin. He kicked it away with his free arm and put that one on the other man's foot, who groaned in pain. " Pay her, or you'll pay me with your lives." " But, we don't have that much money..." " Then die." Masquer's tone was strange and vengeful. He had no mercy in his eyes. The coldness of his words seem to freeze everything in the room. " Please, spare our lives..." " You disgust me." Masquer tripped them all over with tremendous force, then kicked them out of the inn. Putting his rapier in it's scabbard and his dagger back in place, he yawned and went up to bed, stretching. I'd really like a good night's nap...

| 1) Well, your firearm is a bit too advanced for the 17th Century, I advise you type 17th Century Pistol in Google Images, or find another kind of gun, that would fit the technology available to you in that time period.
2) Also, since you're more of an Inventor/Philosopher, then your knowledge with (what appears to be assassination tools) should be pretty limited. It seems rather unlikely that a Character who invents and questions the world and/or his existence would know how to use poisons, throwing knives, concealment, etc...
3) Some of the technology your character is fluent with seems very advanced, such as the miniature calculator-looking radar, which also has x-ray. You'll need to edit that, change it to something a 'little' less impressive.
Once this is edited, I'll take another look at your app.

| 1) 'Kay I'll change that.
2) He's only taken the philosopher/inventer role as hiding, he didn't actually specialize in it. He was a wanderer, and come on, how many folk would he have attacked. Anyways, I'll change it.
3) Alright, calculator + little freezer for strange biological substances/samples. Fine?

| For your calculator device, I still think that is a bit too high-tech for the 17th century. A calculator definitely doesn't fit, and the only ones who'd come up with calculators are the mathematicians themselves, and there still aren't very many mathematicians... A digital password lock also seems too advanced. The freezer mechanism seems alright to me.
Also, I noticed you edited to make your weaponry a bit more appropriate for you to know how to use, but, even an ex-swordsman isn't much of an Assassin. In order to have the skills, and use them skillfully as your character does, he'd have to have had Assassin training, which seems unlikely for your character's case.
