| Personal InformationBirthplace: London, England Ethnicity: Lucien is full-blooded British Name: Lucien Gray Alias: "Grand Master" or "Lord Lucien" to his subordinates if they aren't a couple of years familiar with him. Sometimes Lucien is referred to by his first name, but, normally only by those familiar with him, or in a 'friendly' relationship with him. However, to most he is notoriously referred to as the "Everlasting Man" most people speculate why that is if they are the very few who actually know of his existence. Age: 378 Personality: In general Lucien, with age has become less fond with humanity. He has become a very ruthless old man. Although he is becoming less fond with humanity, ruling over them is something no man has yet to achieve, and very much intrigues him. He is used to bloodshed making him truly cold-hearted and full of deception. His intellect is far superior to that of an average human being, since he has experienced and learned more with extra time. Throughout his lifetime, after those closely associated with him died, his records were lost, and he had become a far more shadowy figure, always having plans, and following his own ambition. He is an influential and mighty man. Naturally Lucien is charismatic, and foreseeing. He has huge goals, and what he feels 'limitless' time to achieve them. He is also a very insightly man. He obtained such powerful insight because he himself is the Master of all deceptions. Although he is a very skillful old man, he doesn't tend to reveal his skills much making him quite the enigmatic figure. Sometimes he finds serious matters to be jokes to him. He is what many would consider arrogant due to the power his Piece of Eden has given him. Like many Templar he isn't religious, but is very good at acting religious. Physical InformationGender: Male Height: 6'2 Weight: N/A Hair Color: Gray/Silver Eye Color: Naturally his eyes are Ceil-colored. However, his Piece of Eden is in the shape of a golden eye, and blends in very well with Lucien's face. Making him appear as if he has naturally one Ceil-colored eye and one Golden-colored eye. General Appearance: - Spoiler:
Faction & RankFaction: Knights Templar Rank: Grand Master of the Knights Templar Years in Service: An incredibly high number of 355 years. Pieces of EdenPiece of Eden: Divinity Gem (Implanted into Lucien's eye) Power of Eden: The Divinity Gem is an incredibly powerful Piece of Eden. It grants the User immortality as long as it is in their possession. Whenever something physical/supernatural comes in contact with Lucien, it goes straight through him, it literally phases through him, and doesn't affect his motion, or anything at all. Due to this phasing he is also capable of warping his entire figure from one location to another, simply put, it grants him the ability to instantaneously teleport. Physical Description: The Divinity Gem physically looks like a human-beings eye, however, an eye with a golden iris. It is a solid material, and not mushy like a human-being's eye would be, however, it is difficult to tell, for it appears exactly like an ordinary eye. The golden iris glows golden slightly. Lucien grew up as a Nobleman in England. He was a close cousin of King Edward I of England. He grew up as a spoiled, but, highly intelligent child. He was very popular amongst his peers due to his influence in the monarchy, as well as his naturally charismatic nature. When he was a young man, he aided his cousin, the King in dealing with specific powers that had lived after the death of the King's father. He had killed quite a lot of targets in his cousin's era, in order to end England's chaotic state. Eventually, he had created a secret police force, and locally went about 'killing for the law' along several other men. He was quite the devout christian, and worked towards God, however, at a young age, roughly 23 he had discovered that his cousin, the noble King of England had been involved with an old, yet new organization known as the Knights Templar. He was familiar with the Templar in tales, serving the Lord, fighting in the Crusades, etc... But, these people were of high-power, and even though they called themselves Templar, they were nothing like the Templar in the stories. Apparently the Templar had been operating in the Church that Lucien serviced to. They had approached him, knowing his position as Commander of the English Secret Police Force, and had offered him a position, and an opportunity to bring peace and justice not only in England but all over the World. This idea had inspired the young Lucien, and he joined the Templar. Part Two- Spoiler:
Upon joining the Templar, the young Lucien had already felt a part of something big. The English Government had since then been giving the Secret Police specific targets on the basis of peace and justice of law. And, it wasn't until a few years later that Lucien finally realized he hadn't even left London yet, and that he was being directed to kill enemies of the Guild that he had been a part of. Around this time, he had grown to become more political, and would attend political ceremonies with his close cousin, King Edward I and had participated in skirmished against other Lords all over the British Isles, as well as opposing Kings of Wales and Scotland, etc. By the time he was thirst-five he was revered as somewhat of a genius in society. His cousin had already become old, and the Templar were increasing their strength in the British Isles. Soon enough, the Templar had taken complete political control over the British Isles, and Lord Lucien of London had been promoted, he was then known as Ser Lucien amongst his fellow Templar. They had considered him an experienced individual and skillful ally. They then reverted their operations to the mainland of Europe after gaining control of the British Isles. Part Three- Spoiler:
Once the Templar finished spreading their influence all over the British Isles, the higher-ups of the Guild had traveled to mainland Europe. While the higher-ups were taking care of the political side, Ser Lucien had been ordered to do a lot of their dirty work. From time to time it was battles with Europe's general enemies, however, there were some times when Ser Lucien was required to assassinate powerful authorities. This had gone on for quite a long time. And it wasn't until the last moment that the British Isles had gone into chaos. Apparently the secretive Order of the Assassins had been assassinating Templar with power over Britain. This forced the Templar to hold off on their influence, and turn back into the British Isles to fight. However, while many of the Magistrates and even the Grand Master himself turned back, Ser Lucien was ordered to remain in the mainland, and take on the role of one of their few representatives. It was around this time that Ser Lucien was able to prove his prowess in politics, so much that he was promoted to Magistrate in 2 years. It seemed the Grand Master had been assassinated, a long with a few Magistrates. However, right after the report of Magistrate Sura's death, the Assassins had gone 'inactive'. Magister Lucien hadn't taken this 'inactivity' seriously, and unlike many Magistrates, he was capable of focusing on two goals at once. He directed his portion of the Templar to kill Assassins through the Templar's own spy network all over Europe. One by one he was responsible for slaying the gifted human beings with their unique Eagle Vision, able to see through any deception. Or so he felt. Something he was always jealous of. The Magistrates were surprised by how ruthless he was. These "hunts" continued, and Magister Lucien had been right all a long, the Assassins were secretly plotting a comeback. However, the comeback was never achieved, and these hunts really devastated the Assassins. Unlike the Assassins there were several Magisters. One of Magister Lucien's greatest achievements was tracking down the Eagle of Spain and assassinating him. He was revered amongst his fellow Templar as a man who would one day control the World, especially now that the Templar's Grand Master had been killed. Part Four- Spoiler:
While the Assassins were weakened severely there was a lot less trouble with the Templar's greatest enemies, probably the only group of men and women who would ever be capable of ultimately ending the Templar, if that were ever possible. Magister Lucien had by this time gained a lot of respect from his colleagues. He was age showed, and he was probably around 72. He lost a lot of his physical strength, and some of his colleagues had already died. For a temporary amount of time, he had been responsible for the Templar's influence in Spain and Italy as well as parts of the Middle East. He had been through a lot of battles, and learned to master the art of war through time. It was strange, for he had never encountered a Piece of Eden personally. It was as if he had completely ignored the fact that that was the Templar's goal at the time. It was around this time that he suspected some of his colleagues had Pieces of Eden, dangerous treasures they were... But oh so powerful. A man could raise an army of thousands, conquer the world, read and control the minds of others, make others see, hear, feel and touch what the wielders of such power wanted to. When he started investigating he had apparently discovered that two of the Magisters had in their possession Pieces of Eden. Lucien made sure that they were killed so that he could have their treasures for himself. Till this day no one ever suspected Lucien had been the old man responsible. Around this time Lucien had been abusing the power the Pieces of Eden gave him in quite a lot of ways... He would eventually learn how to use them properly, but, not in this lifetime. He had still believed that 100 years was at most how long a man could live... Soon, that would change. Part Five- Spoiler:
Eventually, when Lucien was near-death he decided to make one last trip. He had gone to England where his story had begun, simply to reminisce, and then commit suicide. He had been suffering some kind of cancer, and it was torturous, he simply wanted to die. In his depression, on what was supposed to be his last day to live, Lucien had actually tried speaking with Humanities so-called God... He wanted to repent, for all the murders he committed, he looked at suicide as a way of revenge for his victims. Perhaps then, Lucien would have his shot at purgatory once more, instead of go straight into the blaze of Hell. At that moment, along the coastline of the sea against Holyhead a golden light beamed in the shallow parts of the water. This light was a flash of hope for the old man, and he went after it. He ran towards the water with his strength, and jumped in, immediately grabbing the small, golden pearl in the shape of an eye... It was an eye but a hard eye, hard like diamond. He grabbed it, and brought it back to the surface. Now the old man was soaking wet with a small golden eye in his hand. He immediately recognized it as some kind of Piece of Eden. It was almost a gift from Mars himself. Immediately he felt revitalized, refreshed, at power once again. He started pulling the acrobatics and agility off that he had when he was in his 20's. It was amazing. At first the teleporting affect was uncontrollable, and from time to time this Piece of Eden slipped out of his hands. He became deeply infatuated with the small miracle-worker, it is truly a life-saver. He decided not to return to the Templar, something he'd regret doing for it would lead into their 180-year decline and decided to follow his own path, without boundaries. Part Six- Spoiler:
He felt immortal, and was immortal. In the start of his feeling of immortality, he wanted that which made him so powerful, so inhuman to become a part of him. That way, it would be impossible for him to lose it, or misplace it. He was bold enough to cut out his right eye, and implant the Divinity Gem, or his Piece of Eden in its place. It had become a part of him from that day on. The first series of goals he wanted to pursue were goals that would better his skills as a warrior. He began traveling all over the world, for he certainly had the time, and confidence to. And started gathering as much intelligence and information that he could. It would take him 180 years to get back into his interests with the Templar, or humanity himself. However, at the moment, he was entirely egotistical, only working to better himself, when he could be using his immortality to better the entire world. After 180 years, he had gathered so much intelligence, and techniques in general; pretty much a lot of what humanity could actually give him. He felt so relieved, and free-spirited. From time to time, he would participate in battles from out of the blue, and since he had been doing this throughout a century, he gained the title of the "Everlasting Man" for strangely he never seemed to have changed in appearance or spirit, he was always powerful. Although he participated in the worlds activities, it was all for himself; to test himself. He had been clever and shady about his appearances as well, allowing others to portray him in their own cultures instead of openly portraying himself. For now, he really didn't care. Part Seven- Spoiler:
After a century and a half, actually a little more then a century and a half, Lucien had his fun. It was time he put his experience and capacity to the true test. He worked to rebuild the Templar and install their influence throughout the entire World once more. However, unlike many other Grand Masters before him, he planned on investigating his enemy before planting his future-Templar all across the World. Throughout his investigations, he realized that the Assassins were still weak in numbers, but their influence had increased. They were apparently divided into many more Bureaus and were all patrolling the Bureau's region specifically. Obviously they hadn't been very busy, and weren't prepared for a massive comeback of Templar, or they were in the proccess of preparing, which takes quite a long time, Lucien would know afterall. Instead of assassinating the assassins, he started subtly recruiting Templar, and as he recruited more and more, he gathered quite enough from seats of power, and from the side of roads. The Assassins still hadn't suspected a thing for he chose specifically who he'd recruit, people they'd never expect. This tactic would later benefit the Templar's prosperity, and the Assassins brand new realization. Once the Templar were reconstructed, after about a 150 more years; the self-proclaimed, but well-deserved Grand Master began his Templar's hunt for the Pieces of Eden, focusing on the Templar's true goals, unlike he had been in his earlier years. There hasn't been on assassination attempt on him yet, however, so far, in the modern 17th Century one a couple Magistrates hadn't been so lucky. It was only until recently that the Assassins began unveiling the Templar's secrets of power, and the Templar, or at least Lucien had been investigating the Assassins all along very thoroughly; he was the one man responsible for the Russian Bureau's Eagle's recent death... Perhaps it is too late for the whole lot of them? RP-Sample:The occupation of the Gyeongsang Province~ The Experience"Distract the Koreans with gunfire, men!" Kuroda Nagamasa cried out to his troops raising his recently polished katana in the air, the blade angled and pointing towards the Castle itself. The men began firing, and as soon as that had happened other Japanese Soldiers had charged with their ramps towards the castle walls. They would take Kimhae, no matter what. General Kuroda kept his stern face locked as his men prepared the ramps, and the Japanese began repelling the Koreans defense. It wasn't until shortly that a mysterious figure had mysteriously appeared literally at the top of the walls where all the Korean archers were stationed. General Kuroda's face brightened, it was stunning. "Sir! There is a strange man on the wall!" A soldier reported, it was clearly obvious. "Is he Japanese?" The soldier asked, suspecting that his General would know. "...I have no idea." He said. "Are we going to continue firing?" The soldier asked for the rifleman halted. "...Hold on." He said, noticing that the shady figure was about to strike the Archers down. One by one the Archers were quickly being cut down by the shadow of a man. "H-He seems to be aiding us Sir." The solider added. "Yes, I see that." He kept gazing in shock as the shady man continued cutting the Korean Archers down. It wasn't until General Kuroda noticed that his Soldiers preparing the ramps were slowly but surely being shot down. He once more scowled seriously. "Fire!" The General ordered. Before his messenger could protest, the Rifleman already began shooting all they could off the top of the wall. This was even more amazing, because it had appeared that even the bullets being fired all over the wall had simply been phasing through the mysterious shadow of a man, but penetrating the Archers. The man hadn't even flinched as the rounds were being blasted at him, and around him. He continued hacking and slashing. Once the Archers were cleared from the top of the walls, and the ramps were lifted up. Soldiers began to move out upon the General's battlecry. The Shady figure had instantly dissappeared off the wall right before the General's eyes as he and his men charged up the Castle, and over the walls. This shady figure was Lucien, and he quickly teleported behind the General. "Don't try shooting me down again, General." The man [Lucien] whispered in his ears with his shriveled tone of voice. The General froze with fear, but, before he could turn around, and defend himself from the mans intrusion, he had already been gone. His eyes were widened, completely in shock. Through the course of their siege... The Japanese would later take the Castle. | |
